Today at work I saw a piece of artwork that really interested me. The piece is called Hearing Voices. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the piece over the internet to post or to purchase for myself.
The piece of art had a quote awkwardly swirling through and around it.
"I used to hear voices a lot but then I read up on it and found out they don't exist. So now I don't listen to a word they say."

I work as a psychiatric social worker and have the privilege of working with psychotic individuals every day. This piece exemplifies the conflict and strength that so many of my patients face.
