Words From The Ill And Spectacular

I consider it to be a great compliment when someone in a raging state of psychosis tells me that I am a free spirit.

I'm pretty sure mangoes love me

My mango stash is ripening fast, so down the hatch! Mangoes are a staple for me, so I buy a lot each week. Tonight I made a mono-meal of 5 huge Keitt Mangoes. So smooth that they practically melt in your mouth.

If I don't want to mono-meal mangoes I may add some cucumber,  cherry or grape tomatoes,  and drizzle lime on top . This is one of my favorite meals.

Depending on the size, one mango is 100 calories or a bit over. For the most part I know how many calories are in the fruits and vegetables I consume which makes calculations easier.

On the 80/10/10 low fat, high carb, raw vegan diet  (that's a mouth full,  and very eye roll worthy), I typically consume anywhere between 1500 - 2000 a day, depending on how active I am.  The more ballet, swing dancing, and dance cardio, I do on any given day,  the more I need to eat. Fruit is fuel.

Strawberry Kombucha Smoothie by Julie Morris

I put my drink in a flower pot. . la la la. . .la la la. This is the closest I get to drinking alcohol. Should I feel like a big girl when I crack open a bottle of the booch? This here is, Strawberry Kombucha Smoothie. I need to add some exclamation marks here, gimme a second.. ! ! ! ! There, I feel better. SO good!

2 cups Original flavor GT Kombucha
2 cups Frozen Strawberries
2 tsp Maqui Berry Powder.

Recipe yields two 14oz servings.

You can use any brand of original flavor kombucha that you desire, however, GT is the only brand I drink .

This recipe was created by the talented Julie Morris of Superfood Smoothies.

Hubris

"I like the word 'hubris'. Sounds like the name of a man who pretended to be a god and as punishment  was turned into a dog.  I should use it more."

MONCHIE BAR by ONCH MOVEMENT

Thank you,  Onch of ONCH MOVEMENT ( jewelry designer. I actually have one of his quirky pieces. also; formerly on that Paris Hilton reality show where people competed for BFF status ).  He created something so Willy Wonka meets Candyland meets Rainbow Bright that I can't not be dazzled. Now, ordinarily I'm a person who fiercely dislikes white chocolate. Yes, fiercely. It's a fist shaking in the air, struggling hard to not hurt the feelings of freak children who have it in their smiling mouths kind of aggravation. I'm dark chocolate all the way. But then ONCH birthed something miraculous that this uptight, undeserving girl, wasn't even asking for. A white chocolate bar wiiiiiith. . . Sour Patch Kids, Gummy Bears, and Fruity Pebbles. Aaah! Needless to say,  I broke eating raw for this today.  Thus far I don't feel sick. Knock on wood.

Writing on the Wall, Revamped

A couple of days ago,  I was listening to an Abraham-Hicks/Law of Attraction audio while on my way to work.  Abraham was speaking to a man who was disappointed with certain circumstances that were holding him back from what he wanted.  Abraham stated that he must learn to train expectation. To expect the universe to deliver what is wanted,  and to get into the receiving mode.

Suddenly I saw a huge truck beside me with writing on the side of it that said,

 "EXPECT MORE. . . WE DELIVER. "
