Watermelon Cupcakes

The weather is getting hotter and that means Summer fruits! I admit I'm a bad Southern Californian as I do not favor the sun. I'm still working on my moon tan! I do however, love fruit and one of my favorites is watermelon! Not only is it a delightful tasting fruit but it is also beautiful.

Whenever I find some type of food I like I often wonder if someone has made it into a cupcake form. Here are some watermelon cupcakes. I have credited all cupcakes and linked back to the original authored websites. Some of the websites provided recipes and others did not. Take a gander at these beauties!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention prepare us for zombie attacks

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or CDC says that planning for a zombie attack is no different than planning for any emergency disaster. It seems that this is the CDS' cute way of getting us to pay attention to ways of protecting ourselves.

So, here's what you do..

  • Water (1 gallon per person per day)
  • Food (stock up on non-perishable items that you eat regularly)
  • Medications (this includes prescription and non-prescription meds)
  • Tools and Supplies (utility knife, duct tape, battery powered radio, etc.)
  • Sanitation and Hygiene (household bleach, soap, towels, etc.)
  • Clothing and Bedding (a change of clothes for each family member and blankets)
  • Important documents (copies of your driver’s license, passport, and birth certificate to name a few)
  • First Aid supplies (although you’re a goner if a zombie bites you, you can use these supplies to treat basic cuts and lacerations that you might get during a tornado or hurricane)
There. You are now prepared for natural disasters...or unnatural.

For more info visit the CDC. Click here.
