I love the vivid colors with the thick rainbow sprinkles, the most vibrant outer crust I've ever seen and the pastel mint
(my color!) frosting.
According to Baird, Crown Jewel Cake has also gone by the name Broken Glass Cake. Baird's creation is based on a recipe that ran on the back of Jello boxes during the late 1950's.
