DC Comics Introduces Green Lantern as Gay

How awesome is this? DC Comics has reintroduced the the original Green Lantern as gay. Let's keep pushing messages of equality people! Keep it coming.

    I just find the cynicism that drove this promotional campaign overwhelming. After all this time, I find it impossible to accept the thoughtless 'rebootings' of characters older than those making such changes. But then, as will be this case, the changes end up temporary; remember when Superman 'died'? Can you name all the incarnations of Robin? what number Green Lantern is this? No doubt this he'll be replaced by yet another when DC finds the curiosity-driven sales dry up.

      Keir, thanks for stopping by. I know little about the DC Comics. Superman died?!? I imagine a diehard fan would be crushed to see the "rebootings" of these characters. Makes sense to me. What I admire, however, is that DC is willing to place gay characters in such a popular and hetero male driven industry. I think that is a bold and wonderful step.
