I'm always on the lookout for breakfast themed cupcakes, so these certainly make me happy.
On her blog, Michelle writes:
I used a regular white cake box mix but added some bacon and maple syrup. The egg yolk is a butterscotch candy. The "pepper" on the "egg" frosting is poppy seeds.
I hate butterscotch so I would most likely substitute the inside of a Cadbury Creme Egg candy..
