The Amps were formed in 1995 after Kim Deal from The Breeders called it quits. The Breeders broke up for a year. Deal formed The Amps and they recorded their debut album Pacer in 1995. The Breeders returned collectively in 1996.
Pacer is the only album The Amps recorded and it is one of the best albums I own.
