The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck!
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about let me give you a little background.
The idea of the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck came from the soft server himself and his partner. Doug Quint and his partner Bryan Petroff started the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck in 2009.
Quint is actually a bassoonist. He has degrees from The Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School. He is currently a candidate for the Doctorate of Musical Arts degree at the CUNY Graduate Center. Doug has performed with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Brooklyn Philharmonic, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, the Boston Pops, and the Chamber Music Society of the Lincoln Center. He is a member of the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston and of the award winning woodwind quintet, Zephyros Winds.
During his off time in the Summer he is serving different types of ice cream and ice cream with unique and bizarre flavored toppings.
