The PS22 Chorus performing Pretty Good Year by Tori Amos
PS22 Chorus performing "Pretty Good Year" by Tori Amos ~Amazing solo by Alicea~
The PS22 Chorus is definitely something to see. The kids are lead by Gregg Breinberg. Breinberg is a huge Tori Amos fan and he has his kids cover a lot of her songs. Being that I'm a huge Tori fan myself I thoroughly enjoy his selections.
I sometimes wonder what the kids think of Tori Amos' music. Tori fans have spent years theorizing about Tori's songs and trying to decipher her beautifully strange poeticism.
Pretty Good Year by Tori Amos From the 1994 album Under the Pink
Tears on the sleeve of a man Don't want to be a boy today Heard the eternal footman Bought himself a bike to race And Greg he writes letters and burns his cds They say you were something in those formative years Hold onto nothing as fast as you can Well still pretty good year
Maybe a bright sandy beach Is gonna bring you back Maybe not so now you're off You're gonna see America Well let me tell you something about America Pretty good year Some things are melting now Well what's it gonna take till my baby's alright
And Greg he writes letters with his birthday pen Sometimes he's aware that they're drawing him in Lucy was pretty your best friend agreed Well still pretty good year

I believe story telling is an art form and blogging is a medium in which to share stories and ideas. Within this blog I hope to cover a spectrum of topics. From the serious to the silly. Here you will read my views and inquiries about subjects such as feminism, other various socio-political issues, psychology, spirituality, sexuality, and general interests such as film, art and music. You will also be exposed to my obsession with cupcakes, tea, books, Hello Kitty, and quirky day to day journeys. I enjoy learning from others as I am constantly attempting to introspect, grow and evolve. During this process I will be jotting down musings on this blog. Pull up a comfy chair and a spot of tea and join me!
