Today drops the 2nd installment of the four part Charles Manson ATWA music album series. ATWA is an acronym Manson created to signify "Air, Trees, Water, Animals". ATWA is one of the philosophies that Manson believed in.

Thought most known Manson by name as ill willed individual he is not well known for his music. Yes, the familiar story of Manson's brief collaboration with Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys is of note. Manson's 1969 song, “Cease to Exist” was re-crafted by Wilson for The Beach Boys' album, “20/20″. The song was retitled, “Never Learn Not to Love."

But that wasn't in for Manson. He made music long before and long after his rendezvous with The Beach Boys.

This year of 2011 marks 41 years that Manson has been behind bars. That is where he deserves to be. If there is an ounce of human inside the devil this is where you'll find it. His music.

Manson is a storyteller and storytelling is an art that I always pine for. Folk music is storytelling and that is what I find within his music.
