Urban Outfitters invents an "Obama/Black" t-shirt

Not everyone can come up with good ideas all the time but there are occasions where an idea pops up that is so incredibly bad that it is amazing that it wasn't prevented.



This shirt appears grey or charcoal grey at best. Urban Outfitters is labeling it “Obama/Black”.

I imagine Urban Outfitters are using Obama's name to appear "cool" and to increase sales. Obama's true skin shade is not "black". Even if Urban Outfitters is referring to his race rather than his literal skin color, being black or a member of any other race shouldn't in my view become trendy or impressive for shallow reasons.

While it is truly amazing that we finally have a black president, in some ways, to no fault of his own Obama has become more of a pop star. To some it has become cool to love Obama rather than directing one's focus towards authentic reasons to admire him and his work.
