The Invisible War

The Invisible No More campaign attempts to educate and raise awareness about sexual assault within the military as well as effecting political change. The site hosts information about the documentary that will play in theaters starting June 22, 2012.

According to Not Invisible.org, woman serving in Iraq or Afghanistan are more likely to  be raped by a fellow service member than to be killed in active duty.

The statistics they've gathered stated that 95,000 service members have been sexually assaulted since 2006. More than 86% of violated women do not report assault and less than 5% of all sexual assaults are put forward for prosecution. Less than a third result in imprisonment.
