I haven't work makeup since 1999. I haven't had a long history with makeup. I started in 1996 when I was 16. I was trying to go for the Courtney Love look by wearing red lipstick. In 1997 I took a break from all makeup. I felt a lot better. I felt relief as I didn't have to worry about reapplying lipstick and looking in the mirror all the time. I felt free. In 1998 I started wearing eye makeup only with glitter. At that time I was going for a faerie look. That ended in 2000.
I'm still a fan of glitter but wear it only occasionally. Here are some great glitter and shimmer finds for those of you who aren't afraid to wear it!
