Finally!

Five minutes ago I learned that Ani Difranco's new album is set to drop January 17th, 2012!











































This album is the first album that has no mention of a title or Difranco's name on the cover artwork. The title however, is "What Side Are You On?" The name of the album stems from the 1930s labor song of the same name. The song was first performed by Difranco when she sang it in May for Pete Seeger's 90th Birthday Concert. Difranco revamped the song to fit more current times.

Which Side Are You On? marks Difranco's first studio album in more than three years. This is a first for her as Difranco had traditionally put out an album each year. She has done so since her first record in 1990. As we all know, an album a year is a rarity for most artists.
