I can't believe I've never posted these interviews in their entirety. A big thank you to YouTube user mediagrrl9 for this footage. I came across this interview years ago and revisit them for inspiration.

PART 5 - In part 5 of the interview, Utah tells how he started out in New York, fired his agent, and decided not to play music for profit.
Bruce Utah Phillips aka U. Utah Phillips aka Utah Philips died on May 23rd, 2008 of heart failure. He died in his sleep as he lay next to his wife. He was 73.
