How much sugar is in the foods we eat?

Sugar is in everything. Even the products that claim to be sugarless have ingredients in it that will turn into sugar.

I am pretty good about looking at labels so that I know how much fat, sodium and sugar is in the products I buy. I found this online and thought it would be helpful to myself and others as the photos show how much sugar goes into products we often enjoy.

Keep in mind that each sugar cube equates to one teaspoon of sugar.

Some of you may be wondering if consuming the sugar that is naturally in fruit might be bad for you. According to Associated Content, "There is a big difference between processed sugar and natural sugar. When you eat processed sugar you are not getting any of the nutrients that go along with that sugar. However, when you eat fruit you are getting some sugar as well as some nutrients and vitamins from the fruit you're eating. For this reason, it is better to eat some frozen fruit instead of a candy bar."
