Overheard in L.A. by Burl Moseley

I have a buddy who for quite some time has been posting what he calls "Overheard in L.A." for his friends on facebook. After taking a hiatus I encouraged him to bring it back. Here's his latest.

woman 1: what's the movie? who's in it?
woman 2: don cheadle. it's don cheadle and he plays this black FBI agent...

...me: as opposed to him playing an asian FBI agent???

:: awkward silence ::

While my friend's posts are often humorous this one is quite frustrating. I think Woman #2 is speaking from a place of privilege. 

The friend I speak of is my high school pal Burl Moseley. 

A great actor and a downright handsome man.
