The Bather

I am in love with this sculpture. "Die Badende" or "The Bather", is a giant sculpture in the Binnenalster lake in Hamburg, Germany. The sculpture is made of styrofoam and steel and measures 4 meters high and 30 meters long. This is a project by artist Oliver Voss and will be on display for the next ten days. I wish it would remain forever. Better yet I want Voss to come to my neck of the woods in California and do the same thing. How surreal to be able to be in the vicinity of such a huge structure.

I think it would make me feel like I was in this woman's world not the other way around.
