Black and white come together to project racism onto Kanye West

So, we all know what Kanye did. Hip hop artist Kanye West stole the award winning moment of pop-country artist Taylor Swift.

It was terrible...it still is terrible.


Stephen Colbert brings comic relief to the situation..somewhat..heh..

But folks there is another disappointment that has come out of this. Apparently over blogs and networking sites many black and white men and women who are referring to Kanye as a nigger.
How on earth does anyone feel comfortable directing this language towards anyone?

It is not Kanye who is inciting racism. This is racism that lives inside of each of these individuals.

I am aware that within the black community there are some who feel that there is a difference between nigga and nigger. Some actually associate nigger with stupidity.

Why actively use a word that was placed upon African Americans against their will? Why use a word that has been used to cut down, diminish and wound?

I am floored. I am so disappointed.
